This is a brilliant album, a collection of songs which resonate with our own lives. I love Butterfly’s strong sensual vocals, and amazing guitar and bass work. Four songs are co-written, 5678! and Table for One with Katie Herzig; The Weather with Dawson Wells; and Unashamed Desire with Missy Higgins. My faves are Warning Bell and Not Fooling Around.
Butterfly has uploaded videos of all the songs from the album (performed live, mostly at home) onto Yt, and these are fun, whimsical, inspirational, dramatic and very moving. Fans who want it in physical format can buy it from jb-hifi (Au).

I was once asked by Butterfly while she was on stage if I had an argument for liking The Weather as the single and not 5678. Well I was just listening to the album the other day and realized that lyrics in 5678 aren’t really up to scratch, when butterfly sings “And listen for the countdown” and then 5678 is sung… Well, that’s not really a countdown. I’m just saying… Is it too late to have the weather as a single now? hmmm? Still Awesome album though!!!

Discovered her from Gun For a Tongue being a theme for a television show. Looked her up and love her new album.
My favorites are Take me Away, Unashamed Desire, None the Wiser, The Weather, 5678!, and I Wanted To Be the Sun. Basically, I love every single thing about this album.
